Hello again! It’s been a long time since i didn’t update my posts ey?
Well, I would like to thankful to Allah SWT for everything that he gave to me. It’s been such a wonderful life, an unforgettable escape of my daily routine, and for having the greatest family in the world ever!
Yup, my family came to South Korea to visit me for less than 2 weeks. It was really a pump up mood tool after the school final exam. But i’ll tell you about the journey in another post.
Now, i wanna share about new life and new friends, again 🙂 The title in Korean above means “New Orange Friend” – Se Orenji Chingu. This title is an inspiration of my new keyboard protector which is to be sure, orange. Finally i found this color in Lotte Mart since there’s only black and white color in the Apple store. Since it’s Ramadhan months now (a month for a muslim for fasting) i have a new daily routines again. Few couple of weeks recently is very relaxing to me but still, adventurous! I have a new Japanese bestfriend- Kobayashi Nami- and i had so much fun with her. We’ve been to a cinema together to watch Amazing Spiderman, then we bought an identical pink Adidas sport shoes, ate in a Korean buffet restaurant called Ashley, shopped for groceries stock in E-mart, enjoyed Baskin Robbins ice cream- flavor: I Am Sam, Popping Tropical, and Puss in Boots with single crispy waffle cone-, it was for my breakfasting, *yes 10pm Korean time lol*, and more upcoming plans later. I’m really glad to have her these days. I also practice to speak Korean and Japanese to her.
Anyway, two nights ago, my Canadian friend who put her luggage in my room for 1,5 months has just arrived in Gyeongsan, my city. Jessyca, she’s just finish her travel to Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. Yes! My home sweet home Indonesia. It was so amazing to hear her travel experience. She told me about the good and the bad experience that she had. But. i’m just gonna tell you the good one, kkk ^,^. She fell in love with Indonesian culinary, satay, as i do. And then, in a bar in Kuta, Bali island, she “had to be drunk”. Yeah, because the bar put this sign in the door. “Buy 1 get 5 free”. Then, her friend came in to ask the store staff maybe she had put the wrong the sign. But nope, it was true. Then she couldn’t miss it. After having 6 shots they went out but you know what? The store put this sign “Buy 1 get 10 free”. They’ve gotta be kidding! So, she had the coolest drinking experience because the bartender showed some attraction. It was called the rainbow shot. So, he put the glasses in a row, then he put on a fire on the top of the liquid which then continued to the other glass and each glass liquor color was changed. All together created a rainbow color. It was fantastic, even for me who only heard about this. And then she bought a lot of wood souvenirs from Indonesia.By hearing her story about my country has created a new perspective for myself which is awesome.
The next day, Jessyca and i left dorm together. She went to buy more Korean souvenirs and i went for my first time job. I’m so sorry i couldn’t accompany her. I’ve got a chance to do a part time job in Beomeo English Street. I was placed in secondhand store called Beautiful Mind and basically my job is to help the customers to complete the mission. The purpose of this street is to make Koreans practicing their English skill. But i could also sell the store items to them. It was pretty good to meet Korean school students (they were having a school fieldtrip on that day).
I think i’m gonna stop here for this post. It is 4.40 am and i write this blog to make myself feel more comfortable after “sahur” or a breakfast for fasting -red. I was just finishing my meal for fasting today. My menu was rice with tuna mackerel sauce, cheese, and potato chips. It’s also my first Ramadhan outside home and alone without my family. However, i’m glad i could make it so far.
So, have a blast for your day. And always do something with your passion, because
you are what you do and you do something what you want
